Socioball is a 2.5D physics-based puzzle game. The player has to get the ball from the start tile to the finish tile on a 10×10 board by placing missing tiles in the correct places. The game comes with built-in levels, as well as a level editor.
Socioball allows players to share their creations via Twitter, from inside the game. This is done by embedding the level data and the hashtag “#Socioball” into a single tweet. The game also searches for the hashtag on Twitter, and fetches the levels tweeted globally. Players can click on these levels to play them.

Loved the game. Its pleasant, not too flashy and gives a down to earth experience of solving puzzles and the fact that you can share custom built levels is awesome... Can't wait for the next updates and tiles..
Enjoying the concept so far and looking forward to more. I hope you eventually choose to add audio!
I finished built in levels in 20 mins. They're too easy and you can solve them without using all the available squares. The twitter feature/editor is anyway a good way to make the game longer and harder.
I like the minimal graphic, it's pleasant. What about the audio? I Can't hear any sound...
I will be adding more built-in levels, as well as a new kind of tile next week. Expect more challenging levels with that update. No plans for audio yet. I'd rather have a silent experience than annoying stock sounds.
According to my experience I would like to suggest some kind of audio and a "mute" button to stop it if annoying. Good to know you're goin to add new levels!
The game has a lot of potential.
Try running the game as an administrator, when on your netbook. If that doesn't solve the issue, delete the .config file inside the folder and restart the game. Tell me how it goes.
Running as as administrator didn't fix the problem. Also, there's no .config file in the game folder anymore. I guess that's when the game crashes, when it fails to create the .config file.
I've figured out what the problem is. I copied the game folder inside a folder that is read only! Therefore, the game can't edit or create the .config file, and when it fails to do so it crashes. User simon_says_bleed might have the same problem. I hope I helped.
Hmmmmm... sorry... I might be confusing you a lot. My folder wasn't read only, that's not the problem. Regardless, the game can't create or edit the .config file. Not even when running as an administrator.
I will try to replicate the scenario myself. Thanks for analyzing the problem. I hope to solve the issue soon.
