First Person Shooter

NOTE: Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10, a DirectX 10 compatible video card, and Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is no support for Windows XP or DirectX 9.

Shattered Horizon is the innovative first game from Futuremark Games Studio that immerses you in the cold reality of combat in space like no other game before. This multiplayer first-person shooter is played entirely in zero gravity. A catastrophic explosion on the Moon has filled near-Earth space with billions of tons of rocky debris. You and your friends join intense 32 player battles to control hollowed-out asteroids, huge fragments of Moon rock and the ruined remains of the International Space Station.

Would like to buy this game...but since I know that it was in various bundles and there´s no more updating I´d pay $0.50 for it.

I was really pleased to find that you can still get Steam keys for this game as it was removed from Steam back in August 2014. One of the developers said it was removed due to problems with Leader boards and Stats. The developer sold the game off to futurmark 2 years ago, so could no longer support the game. The game still plays fine, it's just no leader boards etc, which I'm totally not bothered about as i just play for fun. That said, you can run a server from Steam, though you'd need two computers and two copies to be able to play yourself. I've got several spare keys for this game now., thanks to Desuraand a couple of the Indie Bundles (Indie Royale and Bundle Sars) as well as the game activated to two of my Steam accounrs, so i'm able to run a server and play at the same time. The spare keys will be going to close friends who are interested in playing the game with me.

If enough people were interested I'd create a Steam group specific to this game so that we could play online weekly.

(If you want to contact me via Stam my Steam name is Whiterabbit01)

Why does the "Desura Deals" email say this supports Linux? I almost believed it when I saw the email, but obviously it's wrong.

Too bad this doesn't support winxp, I don't plan to ever buy another windows so I'll never play this. Why the devs didn't simply use OpenGL? It's way better than directx and most of all it's supported everywhere (except x-block).

you're right, although you can get even DX11 on XP.
except for some better performance and the ability to use more RAM, i hate Vista,7 and 8 for their Object interface, ugly design and for infantilizing the user even when he got full adminrights.

I'm never going to buy a flushable toilet. I'm going to go in a hole I dug in the ground for the rest of my life.
