My joint favourite game of all time (along with Shenmue on Dreamcast).

Simply wonderful - 9/10 :)

First it's labeled as a game. It's not,but since it labeled as such, it's now in the big boys arena, not the 3d interactive environment which it might be able to argue superiority in. 9/10
Second, the argument that it can be used for game development. Compared to other platforms, it is terrible. 8/10
The crafting is not fun. Basically it's a "very" crude 3ds max or blender type program that you are required to work with if you decide to build. For those who are not 3D designers, it is not fun. It's no EQ landmark. 7/10
So you made a game, be prepared for heavy lag no matter if you streamline scripting or minimize prim counts. You may be on the other side of the sim from where real time fighting between maybe 10 people, yet your walking is choppy. 6/10
It's not fun, but users made some amazing things and they are charged to bring in items because the actual build materials in game are crap. They charge users to make their mediocre environment better. I'm such a user and that is a crappy deal 5/10
Sure you can make stuff and sell it but know that Linden Labs has free license to your creations inside and outside the SL world. They can resell and exploit anything you make according to the ToS. 4/10
gameplay is null unless some user created a game and it like I said earlier will usually be extremely laggy. 3/10
so what is there to do there? well you can craft, walk around, shop, and look at user creations. sounds like such a great game. 2/10
finally compared to other games even the sims it's garbage. The sims was somewhat fun. You could build homes etc, and there was some clear gameplay. They didn't just stick you in a 3d environment and give you a crude version of 3ds max and a scripting language. If that's the case let me just take Ogre engine slap in a version of blender and tell you learn python and call it a game. 1/10

Wow - is it just me, or is there a surprising similarity between the users who score a massive 10 out of 10! Majority of them seem to love social media so much that they create a user solely to tell us how great this game is. No blog entry, lack of other games, don't seem to ever be on line. Maybe I'm reading too much into this or maybe people are trying very hard to flog a dead horse.
