Cold War follows the story of a freelance journalist who finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy that aims to control the U.S.S.R. Twelve hours after arriving in Moscow for a routine story, he has been stripped of all possessions, beaten unconscious and thrown into the KGB`s political prison. Using only recovered weapons and improvised gadgets, he must now evade or overcome elite Soviet forces and defeat the conspiracy before he is sent to a Siberian prison camp or killed.

first i had no sound! but deleting the libs folder worked for me fine!!!
ja joguei a demo // I played the demo
The demo version worked fine on my Debian wheezy 64-bit (32-bit libs installed). Very simple to install. The clivecrous reply below fix the sound issue for me. It's a beautiful game, very good game engine. This game is on my wish list.
Any chance for a demo?
Look at Linux Game Publishing site for a demo. But if your question is about having a demo version here on Desura, this is very appreciable.
This game is REALLY old i had it on the original xbox
On 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 sound was not working. Removing "lib" folder in game directory (~/.desura/games/cold-war - for Desurium) helped. Everything now works fine.
It was a dublicate.
Disable/remove PulseAudio.
Did exactly as you said, and it worked for me. Running Peppermint OS Three 64bit with alsa as default.
Thanks for the help!
