this is a free flash game why put a price tag on it
u can play this on newgrounds for free
My only complaint so far is this horrible static sound that comes through both my speakers and microphones while playing
Oh boo hoo yourself.
This is something caused by Desura, the minimum amount allowed is 1.99 in each currency.
That's not true: Desura.com
Fortix isn't on sale or anything, but it's priced £0.59 (and I guess it's $0.99 in the US). Games can definitely be priced under 1.99...
Perhaps Desura changed their policies since 2011?
We specifically asked Desura about pricing options and received the following response. As we had originally wanted to offer A.R.C.S as a name your own price game, like we do directly.
"We do not support name your own price and $1.99 is the lowest price you can go"
I believe this is due to the credit card processing fees. I know we make almost nothing on .99 cent sales through our own store, due to this.
Fair enough then!
Boohoo.
