9.03m is a short, first person, art/empathy game for the PC, created by Space Budgie. The game draws upon the disaster that affected many people in Japan in 2011, the tsunami caused by the Tōhoku earthquake. It aims to remember those who passed away in the tsunami as individuals, as opposed to numerical data often found in news articles.

Based on Baker Beach, in San Francisco, you must navigate the beach, picking up objects that have washed ashore, in search of butterflies.

Half of all received Space Budgie royalties go to Aid For Japan (www.aidforjapan.org.uk), a charity that helps children who lost their parents in the tsunami. The other half goes to Redr (www.redr.org.uk) a charity that helps in disaster scenarios.

A wonderful experience. Thank you!

Could you please explain how the title "9.03m" is meant?

Thank you. 9.03m stands for the magnitude of the earthquake that caused the tsunami.

The experience was as LOVELY as the terrific review posted Strickebobo on Oct4.
My suggestion would have been to alter the cinematics to a short clip of action by the honored persons (playing, running, kissing)--then exploding into butterflies, rather than telegraphing my next movement.

You *must* include an option in settings to invert the mouse. You must understand that over 1/2 of the game-playing world uses airplane controls on *all* games, pulling *down* on the mouse translates to looking *up*.

Also, at the beginning, controls were noted as WASD. You should have a simple summary of this in settings with the missing command E--pickup (even if there is no option to change these controls.) I got all the way to the bear and had to restart because I did not realize how to pickup.
Beautifuly crafted.

I have many gamer friends and have yet to meet someone who uses those control schematics.

Not to say that you, or anyone else for that matter shouldn't, or that it shouldn't be supported in games, just thought it odd that people did, nevermind so many people :)

Oh thanks! Not sure about 'terrific review' but glad to see it helped. Also call me Owen, Strickebobo is my Runescape username from when I was 12 and I'm not too certain what it means...
