Any reason that this game REQUIRES the Oracle Java implimentation? Almost all Linux users that have Java installed use the OpenLDK instead of the Oracle version. Ods are that the game will work just as well on the openJDK but it refuses to install wihtout Oracle Java.
It runs great, but I trying to raise the resolution doesn't enlarge the screen. This means I can't see anything because the visible space is still 800x600. I really want to play this, but am not going to hurt my eyes trying to do so at that resolution.
If there is a fix, please let me know (running Zorin OS, Linux BTW)
ARGH WONT WORK >:(
My download stopped on 92%! Oh, ok. DA F*CK?!
Whenever I try to change the resolution of the game, it does nothing. Is this feature not quite implemented yet, or am I experiencing a bug?
Nevermind. It suddenly started working.
Could I do a Let's Play of this by any chance?
So, I love the idea of just interacting with the map instead of changing it as you do in some of the similar games, but I was bent out of shape for about 10 hours of game play because I didn't know that I could ride the robot to get up ledges I couldn't reach myself...
After that, the game got much better than it already was.
Crashes on startup. Could it be an issue/conflict with x32 vs x64? I had an issue with Steam on linux in which I had to replace the x64 version of Flash on my x64 system with the x32 version of Flash before it would work properly. Could it be a similar x-bit issue with this x32 game?
Game version 1.0.1 x32, Ubuntu 12.10 x64, openjdk-7-jre (7u9-2.3.4-0ubuntu1.12.10.1).
If epic inventor didn't look so bland I'd give it a go. I always say graphics doesn't make a game, but sometimes I expect at least some effort to put into the way things look. This still looks (which gives it a feel of) being very aplha stagey. Wether it is or isn't is not the point, it's just not attractive in any way to get me to even try it out. The textures/sprites bore me.
