After about two and a half years I came back today to see if there has been progress and yes there has been. But very much to my disappointment it seems it consists only out of interface changes
During this time I started up this game, well, about 20 times tops. And every time I'm turned off by bugs slapping me in the face in the first minute into the game.
* My dwarfs are walking or climbing on thin air
* .. stuck in infinite movement loops
* creeps are stuck inside the earth
* .. are attacking my dwarfs and they don't defend themselves
There is even no way to review it fully due to these game breaking bugs!!
If I hadn't seen a VERY similar game on greenlight just now, I would have completly forgotten about this one. (It's called Craft the World)
The health system is nonsensical sometimes, and doesn't seem to work properly. You'll be hit by something and then die despite only one portion of life going away. Most of the game can be beaten by just sitting in the back and shotting in the straight line. More like a bullet snore than a bullet hell.
This game would be barely okay if it were free. However it is not and costs 8$. I was bored as I waited 3 minutes for 3 speech bubbles to pass by during the intro to level 1. And beat level 1 without moving and just shooting.
I just quit out of boredom, the first 5 minutes were that bad.
Sorry, I don't reccomend this game to anyone out there. It's just not worth your time.
This. Is. Terrible. It is buggy, not intended for multiplayer use, and the levels were confusing and buggy. I can understand some people can see past it quirks and bugs and see something good, but I apologize for I cannot see anything good except the mod's concept.
HOW? How is it possible to release a game thats is worse than previus games from the same studio, using the same graphics?
The interface is horrendous, resizing the window kills all graphics, just making a new game to play takes MORE effort.
Its like they take Dominions 3 and think... mm how could we make this game WORSE? Oh i have an idea... and realeased this.
These people took minecraft and COD, put them both into a blender, added a large amount of fecal matter, blended it together, and called it a wrap. These people appeal to the lowest common denominator of consumers, targeting the mindless 11 year old that loves minecraft, Cod, and has his parents credit card...
