Hmm, perhaps...
Have random black fgures pass by the windows up top, or are they static, 2D images? Still, just have a quick flash that you can barely see...or if you stare long enough, perhaps have a shadow figure standing in the window. I'd say to make sure to have alot of cricket noises here, also, and make them get quieter as you see the shadow, as they can sense an increase in temps or decrease, and stuff like this is usually associated with temps going down when a spectre is around.
