I play Warband SP a lot, so while i play i keep writing stuff in a txt on background, gameplay fixes to do, bugs to fix, improvements and i was thinking about the troop tree and how to fix the overpowered Cavalry, mostly Swadian, but also the rest.
The thing is that if you can gather 50 + High End cavalry, the game is over for the rest of the troops. I even used in my last Swadian game (100% difficulty), only knights and sharpshooters for sieges, and even if they have lower attributes than huscari, knights are better in sieges than them in my opinion. So they are the best troops overall. Due to this gameplay issue, i usually have only 20-30%(of the max party cap) max cav in my party to keep the game challenging.
Last Tier Troops, only recruitable in faction towns, at renown 500 and up, and they will cost renown: 10 per unit. Non-cav troops will cost 5 renown, like Huscari, Sharpshooters.
Some parts of the game are hard coded and for a mediocre coder like me to put a limit on the party cap, well, no chance. Other didn't succeed either so far, so i am looking for other solutions like this one i am talking about.
Even more than that i want to add an elite tier of troops, for those that haven 500 + renown and own a town, and some of this new units to be medium cavalry for those faction that have none.
