Ladies and gentlemen, I am overjoyed to present, after a long period bordering on oblivion, a new version of the legendary Total Realism mod. The mod was one of the first comprehensive modpacks ever made for Civilization 4, and it has been around ever since, constantly improving. In its current state, after 5 years of development, it offers a rich, diverse gameplay experience with stunning visuals and plenty of new features.

the mods a little unstable normally 400kb and up it crashes
Uhm Yeah... Awesome Mod... but after a few Days, Civ4 just started to run real slow... checked it out on the Task Manager, its Priority is on Below Normal, After i set it to High Priority and Switch back to Total Realism, nothing changed and its still on Below Normal... Help Please, I would really like to play this Mod for Hours again... Thanks
mine crsshed on me!
had anyone else had problems with random crashs to desktop with some kind of memory fault?? if so is there a solution, thanks, love the mod by the way :)
As far as I know this is a problem caused by the game engine itself. Whenever the save files get to a certain size the game cant handle it at it crashed. I'm not sure if there is a solution to this however the problem seems to have been largely eliminated in the Beyond the Sword expansion which the mod team seems to be porting over to.
What is the terrain mod you are using here? (If it is taken from someone that is)
Actually, ignore that question, I'd rather play the mod itself rather than taking the terrain graphics for the original.
It is based on several popular terrain mods, but it was developed specifically for this mod. So it isn't available separately anywhere.
Did you patch your Warlords to the latest version?
Are you using Civ IV Gold (which includes Warlords) ?
