This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

Today's news is not about my mod, but about work of a talented mapmaker and fan. CnC_Fin made two briliant mini campaigns for Gdi and Nod.

Cyborgs are all tiberium-infused corpses so i doubt they have any concept of humanity

Well,we've sort of strayed off from my question. xd
Cyborgs are actually really dead bodies? Man,thats twisted. To impregnate with tiberium, implant cybernetic stuff to a corpse. If they dont have classic stereotype brain chips, how are they controlled? Corpses has their neural net kind of..offline. What I wanted to say is I personally count reapers, destroyers between walkers.(just like Titan) "Hey,Oaks, but, but, you cant just!?".. :D
GDI Commando has Orbital strike as a "ranged C4".If only on structures.

As "Nod Cyborg Technician" would be my dream job in the Tiberium Universe, I feel qualified to answer this one (in theory). First the corpse is assessed for damage (eg. if the guy had his legs blown off then he's a candidate to become a Reaper), then augmentations are added to the body - fully integrating tiberium fueled power-cells into the flesh along with specific modifications. CPU is integrated into the brain before the corpse is embalmed with Liquid Tiberium fully saturating the tissue and thusly powering the cyborgs systems. Finally the augmented cadavar is shocked with high voltage to boot up the CPU which then feeds the current into the dead brain (after all thoughts are simply electrical impulses) then from the safety of another room software is installed and cyborg is ready for combat use.

Ok,M0nkfish is officially member of inner circle as a new MOK leader :D
But I meant the question if C4 will apply on Archive units(Colosus, later on Conqueror or others). As discussed,C4 works on almost all walkers.Titan,Corruptor,Avatar,Juggernaut, but oddly enough, not on those whom I named.Like Wolwerines and Reapers(if you guys count them as walkers as I do.Apart from normal cyborgs, reapers are not healed only in Secret shrine and tiberium but also by repair drones.Thats why I am counting them between vehicles, thats why I think snipers, other anti-infantry weapons should be ineffective againts them)
And my last twaddle is about Carnius's interesting decision that Tarantula mines will be produced at Secret shrine. Its interesting that Nod has 4 production buildings, unlike other factions.Yes,factory could seem to be crowded already, but I would expect from Secret shrine to produce only Cyborgs.Whats Tarantula mine? Cyborg? Infantry? Vehicle?
Twaddling and even more twaddling, well whats better to shorten the waiting on 1.52? :D Playing 1.51,would be good answer.

if you can survive long enough to put C4 on an archive unit i think you're doing very well indeed, so i think it SHOULD work against them as it will be very difficult to do in the first place. RE: Tarantula Mines there was debate about how they should be classed on the forums when the idea was suggested - as they are basically a stealthed suicide drone with an AI i can see why they'd be produced at the secret shrine as they probably use a lot of the same technology used to produce the cyborg. In answer to the question of whether they are cyborg infantry or vehicle, they are definately not a cyborg (no organic parts) and while i suppose they are TECHNICALLY a vehicle i think consensus was to regard them as artificial infantry (as anti-tank weapons would have trouble targeting them due to thier extremely small size but i cant remember for sure. i guess you could check here: Desura.com but i guess we'll all have to wait and see what Carnius decides.

True, but GDI has a half decent commando & the Mammoth Mk2, Cyborg Commando is roughly the NOD equivalent to the Mk2 so i see no reason why she cant be made slightly better by adding the ability to throw C4 (with a cool-down time obviously). This way she might even be able to take out a single wolverine, if she can get the charge to stick to the body. Which i think would make her infinitely more worthwhile in terms of her cost price.

i agree that she should be able to throw C4 other than that leave her the same but the GDI commando needs his equivelent because right now their basically even.
right now its: nod stealth = gdi jump jets, nod C4 = gdi moderately long laser tageting system, nod laser assault rifle = gdi chain gun. GDI's zone commando isn't that great neither is the black hand commando and if she get's to throw C4 for anti-walker defence the zone commando also needs his own version.

i dont agree that they are basically even, GDI has a massive upperhand when it comes to commando units: the difference is, stealth is easily countered whereas jumpjets are not. GDI commando can be in and out before you know he's there, lots of things detect stealth - base defenses, vehicles, aircraft. Which also brings me to your anti-walker point if GDI commando sees an anti-infantry vehicle coming he can simply jump jet to safety in any direction he chooses so being able to counter them is less essential for him. NOD's commando on the other hand has no option but to remain perfectly still or be shot to pieces, in many cases staying still doesn't even help as a lot of vehicles have stealth detection. So even with the ability to throw C4 i'd still say the GDI commando has the upperhand. frankly i believe he should have a slight advantage over her and i believe thrown C4 doesn't quite level the playing field, so things still operate in his favour.
