I'm also having trouble closing notes and books after reading them. No buttons seem to work, even after reading the whole thing. Also the legs from the Crysis character model have suddenly appeared. Has this happened to anyone else?

These issues appear to have fixed themselves as I progressed to part 2. Not sure what happened...

You guys need to add -mod Newport2 at the end of your Crysis shortcut target if the mod menu isn't working. This is a Windows related glitch. Also insure your game is patched. Origin does NOT autopatch Crysis, so you need to do it manually.

I can't close a book/note. How do I fix this?

When you have reached the last page of a note or book, you need to click Mouse2 to close it. We recommend taking it very slowly with the books and only turning each page as you finish them, as (until the patch I just mentioned below this comment0 is done, it is very finicky and delicate.

The Newport engine is not handling the advanced book reading code or lighting engine too well ported over from Triptych. We're struggling to get it to work, so that we can ship it as soon as possible. The programming is being rejected, as Newport Engine 2.0 is a very strict sub-engine of flowgraphs, ToD lighting, optimization and trigger-scripts. To gut it and put in the Triptych elements is turning into a nightmare of coding.

Perfect playthrough, not a book or easter egg was missed. You even found the often-overlooked History of Tygras on the Newport Dock. Well done!
