The Stanley Parable is an experimental narrative-driven first person game. It is an exploration of choice, freedom, storytelling and reality, all examined through the lens of what it means to play a video game.
You will make a choice that does not matter
You will follow a story that has no end
You will play a game you cannot win
...it's actually best if you don't know anything about it before you play it :D
The Stanley Parable: HD Remix is now on Greenlight! Please help us get the game on Steam!

I'm very very happy to announce The Stanley Parable: HD Remix is now on Greenlight!
The game has grown and developed so much since the release of the original mod. It now looks nothing like the original, it's found a new perspective on the ideas presented in the original, it's really beginning to find a style of its own. I'm very happy to share more of the game and to let you guys know that it won't be that much longer before it's released. And I would love for that release to happen on Steam.
If you can support the game by going to the Greenlight page and clicking the upvote button it would earn you all my <3. (extra <3 to anyone who shares the game with friends/followers/whatever!) You've been so supportive and it means more to me than I could possibly say. Thank you!!

I hope to see this game on Steam for its new HD version, I can't get enough of the Narrator's voice. =D
You mean, "Stanley was fat and ugly and really, really stupid. He probably only got his job because of family connection, that's how stupid he is. That, or with drug money. Also, Stanley is addicted to drugs and hookers."
if you read in his voice you loose
Hmm, to describe someone as loose is normally taken in a rather sexual context.
lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose!
Is it possible not to read that in the Narrator's voice?
I suppose it's longer now? Although - it has new file cabinets and cardboard boxes, so that defnitely makes it contender for game of the year anyway.
Also, I hope you're working on a pun of putting a Stan Lee in one of his cameo appearances into the game.
My thumb goes up for this!!
Goodluck on getting on Steam.
-4 votes? People who voted don't seem to recognise sarcasm, until it is delivered with the biased narrator's voice. I always liked the narrators arrogance, but looking down on the feeble minded is best enjoyed in small doses.
Arrogance is only funny in context. As a writer, I can deeply attest to how easily arrogance or sarcasm can come off wrong.
Happens all the time to me.
You deserve it and is shaping great I wish you deserve it and is shaping great so I wish you are shaping as you deserve it and is shaping great I wish you don't deserve it and is shaping great so I wish you are shaping as you deserve it.
Now seriously. ModDB is with you, mate! :)
Can't wait to play this on steam or moddb
I look forward to avoiding doing whatever the narrator tells me to. And then probably dying repeatedly as a result.
i am willing to get it to steam, but dont expect me to pay for it. It wasn't that good. Yes, its unique, but it was also free. it should stay that way.
You were already a shoe-in for my vote. But .mov0002 was so great. Already it channeled Jim Sterling's, erm, unique brand of mocking, but it went so damn overboard past that. Can't wait to see just what all the HD Remix has in store!
There really was no chance that this could have NOT been Greenlit. Looking at the statistics for the first mod... you would have to be on acid to not be able to enjoy the game.
