You need to work alot on your level design, even if you do have a great start and pretty good for a first story. And the ending... the lame ending... This story feels unfinished and nothing that told me "part 2 coming soon" or something like that so, yeah just disapointing.
Something you did surprisingly good thought, are the scares! Dam, you scared the crap out of me sometimes!
Thanks! And yeah, it is unfinished... When I got that far I realised how much of my freetime it took to work on the custom story, so I just wrapped up a nice story for it and made an ending.
I have no plans for a part 2, just because I simply don't have that time to make one, but I'm actually in progress with an update for this one, just improving the lights, sounds and scares. Thanks for the critisism, and if you got scared of it, then mission completed! :)

I liked the story line, it was unique, although very short.
Tinderbox distribution was bad, but that doesn't matter as there weren't a lot of candles to light anyway - in the last area, it was completely dark with no candles to light, which forced you to use your lantern, and since the oil distribution was also terrible, it felt like a time trial. You have to get to the end of the story before you run out of oil.
Not many good scares, the first scare with the brute was obviously a hallucination. I did enjoy the storyline though.

The reason why there's a lack of tinderboxes and oil is because it gets a lot scarier when it's dark and you don't have a light source. Most players freak out when they're out of oil.
As I said, it felt like a time trial, which I personally didn't like.
No oil or candles to light = insanity.
