go on youtube and look up doom 3 tutorials by brian trepaning, there you can get instructions on how to edit every thing in doom including helping you fix your model problem
Well if this mod is all about a pipe worker and not a combat hardened marine i think this mod may be best if focused on horror and scares more than action and killing. It will be a good difference and may turn out to be quite a unique mod, plus i also think that this should be much harder than the Doom 3 campaign (Not hard like Mission mod that is too Object hard) but more with melee combat and close encounters with zombies, guns and ammo are stupidly rare to come across and lets say if you are not careful even a maggot or a trite can Object you over :P Haha just my opinion and advice really i mean im starting doing my own levels as well :)
i agree with darkstar, i think you should make some new monsters and enviroments that will help your mod be popular more
