Source Media Arcade is an all-in-one media center experience for your PC. Shortcuts to your files, games, and movies appear as full-sized arcade cabinets, hand-held tablets, or mounted view screens. You access your media items simply by walking up to them and pressing the USE key. In version 2, you are able to play in MULTIPLAYER mode where your friends can come join in on the fun.

Preface
One of the great perks of using the Source engine as your media center's 3D interface is the massive amount of community add-on maps at your disposal. Each month I will compile a list of exceptional maps and showcase them in the Community Map Spotlight. It is highly recommended that you download and install these add-on maps for use in Source Media Arcade. If you are new to installing add-on content, you can read HOW TO: Install Add-On Content for an overview of how it works, then just follow the instructions given here for each map.
Community Map Spotlight (Dec 2011)
1. Christmas Bungalow
Map Name: dm_christmas_bungalow by modestyiswimpy

Floor Space: Small
Keeping with the spirit of the season, this map features holiday decorations in every room such as gifts, trees, and reefs. The lighting is very warm and inviting and Christmas colors are used throughout the map.

2. Office Xmas Party

Here's some more Christmas theme for you with a very sexy reworking of the classic cs_office. This office has Christmas wallpapers and decorations throughout the map as well as a casino-style game room.

3. Star Trek's Enterprise
Map Name: gm_startrekTOS_v6 by kellar

A very interactive recreation of the original Enterprise. Almost every switch or button you see does something, ranging from playing a Star Trek audio clip to launching a space shuttle.

4. Minecraft

I've never played much Minecraft myself, but this art style sure is reminiscent of the old days. This funky looking map has 4 different buildings for you to organize your media collections into.

5. Middle Of Nowhere

Apparently this map is based on the show Courage the Cowardly Dog; however, this map is great even if you've never heard of the show. It has a very awesome cartoon art style and has wacky sounds playing randomly while you explore.
