I'm very interested in this but no matter what I do, it runs reaaaaaly slow, whereas any other Source game runs just fine, here in my beloved Celeron 420.

help please cant get it to start at all just says its preparing and then nothing happens i copied the -novid -window -noborder to it otherwise it pllays a source vid and then nothing happens? help please im on windows 7
Hey zillakiller. Try launching Half-Life 2: Deathmatch first to make sure that its all ready to go, then restart Steam and try launching SM Arcade again.
can anyone help me i always get this error everytime i try to launch here's what it says : "MountFilesystem( 321 ) failed: SteamMountFilesystem(2916,321,0xf25f790) failed with error 116 Cache needs repair" (ive been getting this error while trying to play gmod 9 too)
From the looks of it steamy, it is your HL2: Deathmatch cache that needs repair. If fixing it through the Steam menu doesn't work, you can always just delete the HL2: DM folder and re-download it.
This will probably fix your GMod problems too.
FYI, the update released on 8/23/2012 is a maintenance patch that fixes issues that arose in getting images from TheMovieDB.org as well as getting your public multiplayer arcades listed on the Steam master server list.
its dont worke i only see pink and black what is wrong???i have hl2 and l4d2 whats wrong??and tf2
Some of the maps, besides sm_garage, do use Counter-Strike: Source textures. If you have CSS, you can go into the DLC page (by pressing P) and install the "Extra Resources" DLC. That will allow you to use content from the other Source games you own.
If you don't have CSS, you can still use sm_garage and many other add-on maps from TF2, HL2, etc.
To use official maps from these games, just use the "changelevel ctf_2fort" command in the console.
