To be able to join your friend's server you need to know his direct IP (e.g. 92.25.74.53) and type in console: connect 92.25.74.53

To fix it you need to place env_cubemap entities around the map. After you compiled a map you open it ingame and type in console: buildcubemaps
This will fix this problem.
Also the vehicle makes players get stuck on it often.
And the vehicle itself can stuck:

And there is nothing you can do with it.
And why did you add a timer? It was not fun to make it all over again.
You can use the secondary fire on the axe to get the truck unstuck.
There actually are cubemaps, I just renamed the map after I compiled it, which I didn't know at the time breaks them. There's hardly any specular anyway, so mat_specular 0 in console will sort you out, though it's non-ideal.

um.. this game wont start up... Please help. I have installed it properly (in the source mods directory). I even see it in my library. But when I hit start it "starts up" but hl2.exe doesnt start up.
You may need to install the Source SDK Base 2006.
Ya. I found out what it was. I put my hardware acceleration to the minimum to stop the crackling of audio streaming. When I put it back all my games where starting again. But thanks anyway.
