An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
Drone Warfare, and State of the Mod Address
It's like the State of the Union, but without the same empty grandstanding, or a nervous rebuttal from a broken man.

So, just curious here, but I have had problems with this mod for ages. I own RA3 on steam, and have installed this through desura a while back, and it never worked. I would launch and it would not bring up the game, no matter what i launched from. I recently came back and re-installed the mod through desura, and it played for a bit, and crashed after a few incomplete battles. I can no longer launch it through anymeans.... What have I broke? o.o
You'd have to ask EA; they're the ones who put the Ministry of Experimental Science in Omsk.
You do have a point, chances are that could be the only reason. But then again, when your on PCP any idea is good, including (But not limited to)- Tesla Coils;Tanks;Drones;Planes;Troopers;Boats,Killer Robots, Exploding, but NOT killer robots, Exploding Killer Robots, SUPER Corrosive Chemicals, AND TRAINED COMBAT BEARS.
"Comrades, I HAVE THE DRUGS. LETS SCIENCE."
True, but the whole point of the red alert universe is that they needn't do drugs to come up with those. Now imagine if they WERE on drugs.
Wouldn't that be the Protectorate and Atomic Kingdom?

And yep, even when Red Alert 2 was cracking me up with some cool, but... unrealistic ideas, RA3 took it up to eleven, while Uprising finished it off with two units (Archer Maiden and Giga Fortress).
Thankfully we don't care about Uprising, other than some brief mentions why its units are not in Paradox.
OMG.
