Welcome to Project Reality: ARMA 2 (aka PR:ARMA2), a free to download game modification for the ARMA 2 retail Windows PC game. The main aim for PR:ARMA2 is to create a realistic and immersive modification for ARMA 2, which focuses on encouraging teamwork through game play. As with Project Reality's original conception on the Refractor 2 engine, at this stage PR:ARMA2 should be classed as a Mini-Mod; we have to start somewhere! What factions are currently in the mod, and what ones are planned? I'm tired of fighting asym warfare in the Middle East. Yeah, I know, it's the most "realistic" 21st century scenario, but it gets boring very very quickly to me. And there any modern opfor factions in the game, like China or Russia, or a remade MEC?
Yeah. Insurgency is the current focus but I personally think that the Takistan Army is superior in most missions than the British.
In the future I certainly envision war fighting on the level of Russai, PLA, US, UK and Israel at the least. Their is an Isralie dev team right now working hard.

I have a GTX550ti on a Windows 7 64 bit with 8 Gigs of RAM and an i7 2600K. How many tears will my PC shed trying to run Arma 2 + PR?
Which ARMA 2 do I need installed? Operation Arrowhead or just ARMA 2? Also where do I install this? Im a noob, just bought the ARMA pack off steam after playing ARMA 2 free and thoroughly enjoying what limited parts of the game it gave me.

It's worth the $$, plus it install's faster.
Combined Operations is both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA combined. It's easier imo to have that then 2 disks.

ok new problem,i have the project reality downloaded onto my arma2 folder as @PR thats fine when i satrt up i get the pr menu with the challenger2 but i go onto the multiplayer because you cant play it sp anyway i do a new host and click one of the missions in takistan but a messae comes up saying "you cannot play/edit this mission due to downloadable content which has been deleted paa_uk soldier" now this is what confuses me ive looked in the @PR folder and its all there now why isnt it showing on the muliplayer when i select the mission i want to do please advice
