Master your weapon. Master the Force. Master yourself. The Open Jedi Project (OJP) is an open source modification for Raven Software's Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Aiming to develop innovative, fun features to the base game, OJP, led by Razor Ace, brings together dedicated fans to integrate their vision of what a Star Wars game should feel like with those of others. Open Jedi Project consists of two mods: Basic and Enhanced. Whereas Basic serves as an unofficial patch to fix bugs and increase the capacity for other modders to experiment in baseJKA, OJP: Enhanced breaks new ground with major overhauls to the Jedi Knight gameplay. Open Jedi Project Enhanced (OJP: Enhanced) makes major gameplay alterations that not only build upon existing features that make base JKA fun, but also introduces new features that greatly increase immersion into epic Star Wars battles.

This is in my opinion the most amazing Jedi Academy mod out there! MBII's saber system pales in comparison to this one! I still play coop alot with my brother and I hope that the recent release of the source code for JA will compel modders to take up this project and raise it to new heights! :)

Still the best mod available. Essential if you want a true Star Wars style saber combat, though this mod really shines in the saber area rather than the blaster area.

And the new saber effects = awesome.

Ah, nevermind. Of course you do. Runs like a charm, loving the new combat system! Can't get bots to spawn with "All On" weapons settings though, most bots seem to just run around with no weapon.

nevermind....I found out how to throw my lightsaber...its unforunate though that you are forced to using a single light saber for all the moves to work correctly...i'm not sure about two lightsabers, but saber staff is defiantly useless without the duel sabering style

The worst part of this mod is....such a great fix on the Single Player levels for coop...yep takes away from the experience being forced to use this new bugged sabering system...I CAN"T EVEN THROW MY LIGHTSABER....and apparently the force heal and drain abilities have been taken out of the game....why!?!?!?
