Same ammo check system from any game that has an ammo check system. Also, we've had ours for a long, long time.

It's not black that's just FRAPS recording SUPER DARK and myself neglecting to put a brightness and contrast on the video.

Here is what it looks like Desura.com

1- Ammo check would be much more useful if you checked the side of the magazine (as long as the side has some way of indicating the amount of ammo... drilled slot, drilled dots, clear plastic magazine, etc.)

2- Why would I ever want to drop ammo?

3- When you view a scope from an angle, you don't see anything but black... you can't see through it at all

4- The weapon aim and relax animations seem sluggish, is that intentional?

1) We have a hud element that shows you how much ammo you have. (We aren't going for 100% realism here)

2) It's a cooperative game sharing is caring

3) I've got no clue on that one, but does it really matter?

4) Many of the animations are still being worked on.

ROFL! You never played ZPS right? If you carry all type of ammo but you havent the gun you will move like a slug and zombies will eat your brain in no time.

1.) That would be a major waste of work since it would go wildly unappreciated, and if that were the only way to see your ammo no one would use it.

2.) It's called co-op for a reason

3.) I know how scopes work and I would like to do what you're saying, but the Source engine doesn't really care. It's either we do it this way or we scope blind it like CSS or DODS. To be honest we could probably find a way of solving this, but fixing the scope on this weapon is of low priority right now.

4.) WIP

nice features, but I cannot begin to describe how much I hate the "dynamic scope" in mods. It's not realistic and it doesn't look good.

so you see throught the ammo and know exactly how much ammo dou you have ? even in the action you wont probably have time to check how much ammo you got. It's cool feature but I don't understand it...

Please make it so that the M4's "scope" shader activates only when you aim down the scope. If you don't make it like that, the game will lag like hell ( I mean the FPS will be really bad) while holding the rifle. Not all of us have uber duper computers out there.
And it is also unrealistic. You shouldn't be able to see red dot and anything through the scope from that angle. If you cut open the scope and make a red dot show up as crosshair after u aim down the sights, it will also be better for the ones that have to play the mod in low resolution and textures cos you won't be able to see red dot on the model.
Oh and if possible, please fix the mp5 sights. U can make the rear sight a V type one, like in call of duty 4, because in HL2 whatever you do, 3d iron sights won't zero in perfectly.

I got an idea: make it so that when your inventory is full and you pick up a weapon/ammo/etc and hold it up, you can still use a pistol or some other single hand weapon(like machete). So when you find something that your team mates could use but your inventory is full, you can still bring it to them and not be completely defenceless during that time you're carrying something

It would require a ton of animations to do that, and I like it because if you are carrying the gas can on chinatown it makes your friends have to protect you

Maybe it would be more efficient to add Ammo drop as it's own key. Perhaps holding reload or something of the like?
