This mod is one of the best horror based mod you could ever see it's a total conversion mod for the massive game Half-Life 2,Made by the VALVE source engine.It allows you to play a First-person horror(live the horror your self)...I wont tell any spoilers, just try it your selves. :D.

This game was AMAZING! i beat the game in about 3 hours, but never the less, it was great! you did an epic job on this game and i can tell you really put time and effort in to it. i give it a well deserved 10/10. Greats job!

One the scariest games ever. One of the masterpieces like cry of fear. Strongly recommend for all gamers who looks for good game and tired on new generation scripted games,

One of the best Half-Life 2 mods I have ever played. Nightmare House never lets you get bored.

Not scary at all but very annoying. Here is how this mod plays throughout it's entirety:
1. Find locked door
2. Wait for scare attempt/inane dialogue
3. Door now unlocked
4. Continue on until you reach another locked door. Flashlight malfunction.
5. Backtrack to previous area, wait for scare attempt/inane dialogue/flashlight malfunction
6. Door now unlocked
7. Continue on to another locked door, wait for scare attempt/inane dialogue/flashlight malfunction
8. Door now unlocked
Rinse and repeat

ahhh nightmare house 2 this mod gave you the chills of cold fear walking through the hallways and airvents extremely surpising ending this mod will make you jump i recommend to everyone start with a scary game this is a good one to start on

The Good:
Excellent story (typical of "We Create Stuff")
Combat is challaging.
New enemies look awesome.
Character development is very well done.
Scary Atmosphere.
Brilliant set pieces.
The Bad:
Voice acting is shakey at times.
Combat in the early levels is too easy.
Some of the horror moments are just jump-scares.

Top notch professional-quality mod that will send shivers up and down your spine.
Not too much shooting, but lots of creepy stuff and shocking things happening every few steps.
I urge everyone who is interested in creepy/shocking gameplay to install this "game" right now.
You won´t regret it. Simply brilliant.

I love this mod for its random scares and interesting story line. I especially liked the vent scene as well as the scene before you go on the elevator.
