This is a singelplayer and multiplayer modification for Mount and Blade: Warband. It covers a central theme of colonists versus tribes, with tribes taking inspiration from anything from aztecs, neolithic tribes and comanches/apaches. It is based in a fictitious land on an Island called New Elgante which is occupied by seven factions. The mod aims to convert the native world to this new setting.
The game world and setting are entirely of my own imagination and I try to convey the world in a believable fashion.
I am making this mod alongside writing several novels based inside the world.

Smoke in the Hills - A Short Story

This is another short story based within the mods setting, it may be continued. Although it feels like the actual goal and idea I had has been expressed. Once again I highly recommend reading by mature...

Ammo is bought in the marketplace like other items, except it is only sold in empire towns. It is rare though so don't expect to find it easily. I may make it more available for the next version, but I never want it to be common.
As for fortifications I presume you mean fortifying your camp? That requires the item "tools", which can be bought in the goods section of marketplaces, sold at all factions. It is fairly common, though some towns might not have them

It is because some trolls have rated it a 1 without reason
Besides, the mod isn't perfect

You should make a official server for this. So people have a place to play new elgante online. Me and some of my friends are willing to try out the multiplayer.

Several events have been run in recent weeks. I did not think many of the people here would want to join in, plus it is harder to notify everyone.
When the next version rolls around another event will be held and I will notify moddb users as well
As for an official server that is quite problematic, I cannot host one myself without leaving my computer running all day long and slowing it down, as well as the fact I live in Australia meaning most people will have high ping. Establishing a permanent server overseas costs money, something which is not a good idea to do for a mod which doesn't have many players. So for now events are being held, keep your eyes open for future ones :D

Thanks for the reply. i get your point. im keeping an eye out for future events and updates. I believe that this has a chance in the big multiplayer community.
By the way. Who made the soundtrack and what is it called? Its amazing, best mod soundtrack i've heard yet. ;D

Your not the first to say you like the music
Most of the music (especially the battle music) is from rejenorst sound design; a brilliant music composer who releases all his music for free for non-commercial use
Rejenorst.com
The tavern jingles you hear are from Jon Sayles
Jsayles.com
And there are a few tracks from original mount and blade in there.

Yeah, I always felt that tribes were missing from warband.
As for mods, I can't help you with pirates, but Napoleonic I can.
