its not scam the mod is free and the game is $20.00 USD on steam ($30.00 if you buy all 3 of the games in the complete pack)
so I bought napoleonic wars, its awesome but I have to say one thing about it.
You guys want realism right? Thats awesome too but how do you expect to give orders to a group of ppl without mic support? or are you working on it. And one of the main reasons ppl still play bg2 or RnL is because of mic support, so if you want your dlc to last put in mics! :P
It would make the game so much better, I don't wanna look up the TS of servers even if the have one.

Well is always nice to see a good modding team trying to get inside the commercial scene.
That aside, it seems that this mod profile has been "cleaned" from all the old stuff besides the last version of the mod, which I think it wasn't the best idea.
Also it would be good to know if this last "free" version of the mod is playable on 1.143 or, more important in 1.150, and if not, if it will at least be fixed to work on those, so the ones that likes the mod but can't affort it right now can play at least a "demo" of the full DLC.
Another shame is that it was released almost at the same time as the Mount & Blade Collection pack, but wasn't included in the package for what I suppose obvious reasons, but now most people that don't follow this mod may not be willing to pay more for a dlc than for the full M&B saga.

great mod always loved it gonna get the dlc right away. but what type of bonuses do the officers flags and music give to the rankers?
You can still play the mod. It's not "forced donation", they are actually selling a product they spent countless hours working on.
It's actually a great thing. The prospect of selling their work or being hired in the industry always been an important source of motivation for the most talented modders. Which leads to more numerous and better quality mods.
Anyway Napoleonic Wars has plenty of improved or new features compared to Mount&Musket. Watch some videos through the link below.

Mods going pro is nothing new and has a lot of positive aspects. I really don't get all the butthurt all of a sudden.
