Just want to say thank you to the developers of this mod. I've loved it since I first found it a year ago, and still love it till this day.
wish this last version would get fixed and balanced....
and still no answer about GOI jets, is it a bug or was that the aim to remove AA ability of GOI jets???
The bug was that the tooltip wasn't changed to reflect the gameplay change.
In hindsight, having a weapon toggle like the F-35 would've been better. We have no intention of doing a patch, there are a couple issues yes, but nothing game-breaking (and most issues people mention are due to the engine). We're super busy on other projects now but if we did do a Starcraft 2 version...it would get a lot more balance and polish than MEC2 CNC3 did (mostly since it actually is possible to do it, much less engine issues).
aww i see :/
but i dont think fixing couple of bugs like this is that hard! (i can be wrong) they may not be game breaking but indeed they are heart breaking...
it felt like MC2 didnt get the attention it did deserve to get :(
by fixing couple of bugs (ofcourse not all of them) it will feel much better!
tomany bugs to ignore... right now it feels like the group just throw away the mod to get to their other mod!
MC2 is one step away from perfection, im sure one day work on it for one step forward to real perfection worth it
This is really 2 separate issues;
Fixing the few minor bugs in MEC2 wouldn't take long. Testing the mod and having a closed beta to ensure nothing accidentally became broken while fixing those bugs would take much more time than needed. If the build actually had something broken (which for us, has happened more than we'd like)...that would mean much more time. We'd be risking sinking a lot of time into fixing minor bugs when we're already waaaay behind on our current project. If there were gamebreaking bugs in MEC2 it would be another story...
Now on the 'one step away from perfection' comment, thanks but I feel MEC2 is a very flawed mod with a few cool ideas. If we were to seriously start back work on it (such as with a SC2 version) there would be major changes done (starting with gutting the resource system, removing the IDF and renaming the mod).
One of the best mods I played! Tnx guys for making this awesome piece of art. But I found some bugs that were maybe mentioned before ( sorry if their were ) UN is having some weird model problems. Like the Peacekeeper has 3 arms and the Alpha strike guys are having a glitchy body... I tried everything in the options menu and nothing worked. Once again guys BEST MOD EVER! And thank you a lot for making it.
Thanks! That is the first I've heard of the infantry model issues (although we do know of some others), most of what you mentioned actually might not be due to a model issue...but an engine one; where you have a few infantry that got stacked on top of each other. CNC3 doesn't really like us having solo, non-squad infantry so they sometimes function a bit weird.

Cute. Too bad I painted most windows on vehicles so that at ingame view angle there is light internal detailing....showing it at that angle makes it look odd. :P
you are joking?
your mod is amazing from any angle :-D
