Hey bud, have gone and deleted the DebrisXXX.mesh files and even reinstalled the game and mod, deleted the mesh files again and went with your "first run crash" solution. Still getting the error "galaxy differs from host" when trying to launch a saved game.
Can you confirm that everyone's checsum is the same when you have "deleted the DebrisXXX.mesh files"
Which erroe message are you getting? "galaxy differs from host" or "data differs from host"?
What stage in a game does this problem happen? Can you successfully save and restart a MP game early ( say within the first 30 mins)
If you play with the flagship option on and the game crashes then the problem is a desynchronisation ...
and as far as deleting the files, kinda refused to host the game/games until we were all on same page so to speak.
within the first hour we can save and reload the saved game, but after an hour or so its hit or miss. the only victory option we've been using lately is allied victory if anything. galaxy differs is the error we're getting

Is anyone playing at speeds greater than x1?
My first thoughts are that it is a desynchronisation issue, which can be common to Rebellion. Can you try the flagship option, while I investigate further?
Flagship gave us the error within the first 10mins for us and all of us playing at normal speeds for everything. Even normal fleet sizes.
Supposedly with the flagship option on ... "The second you are desynced, your flagship explodes." (http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/422197/page/1/#3266985)
Does any of your flagships explode?
Didn't notice either flagship blow up the first time around. We all restarted game and tried again, ran for about 6hrs, then when we went to put a save up, one of our guys got a C++ error...keep ya posted on any other problems.
C++ Run Time Error is a Rebellion game problem ... not preciously sure what is causing this, the developers have stated ... "We think this occurs cause you've run out of video texture memory". Using alt-tab can expatiate the problem, i.e try using windows mode to run the game.
