How do I get this game to work with my own custom kits, weapons, and soldier servers? When I try to use mine with your mod it crashes. I also get random crashing when I play.
hmmm... probably you need to mod upside my mod instead to mix the mods, which will probably cause crashes.
Got the MOD working from your site.
Didn't bother with Titan since it's only for 2142 1.0 and I have Deluxe fully updated.
Pretty good so far but just wanted to point out to anyone else trying to get it to work that the MOD and 16 bot patch ony work for Single Player LAN (Under Multiplayer). In Single Player mode itself it seems to increase the bot count to 24 on 16 bot maps.
Also wanted to point out that through the whole duration of game the 'Waiting for 1 or more players to join' message still remains displayed across the screen.
No, works fine in SP too... but SP only have small maps. To play the biggest maps like the SP, just start a coop match.
About the msg 'Waiting for 1 or more players to join' is that you didn't overwrite the serversettings file. Change by yourself the server config to start the match with 1 player instead of 2 which is the default config then you will be able to play alone. Or reinstall the mod overwriting the config file with HER config.
Crashes on startup then I noticed the Read Me says that it is only compatible with version 1.0, I have Deluxe updated to 1.51 - Was that Read Me written a long time ago or is the information still current? If HER has been updated since to work with 1.51 it might be an no-SSE2 issue OR because I selected Single Player instead of Mutliplayer which causes a similar MOD to crash?
HER Titan MUST be installed over 1.0 only! Use the original HER BF2142 to your updated game. Dunno why the game crash if add bots to titan maps on the versions above 1.0.
