Was there even playable demo?
Indeed, this was a promising mod. If only the didn't let it to rot.
The team who worked on this mod are truely ******* morons. I was extremely ****** when they switched engines. Then when they finally just gave up, I could care less anymore.
they didn't work on the HL version because they're stupid ***** who bought into the idea that source would be a better engine, completely ignoring the fact that it looked unique in HL1 yet in source looked like every other HL2 mod ever, as well as the fact that it is much harder to mod for HL2 than it is for HL1 (there is easily 10 times as much code in HL2), AS WELL AS the fact that an engine switch means a massive restructuring, which they had already done before which only slowed thim down to a crawl. finally they just gave up.
i'm seriously disappointed, because this mod had promise and they screwed it all up. "HAY GUYS NOBUDY PLAYS HL1 NEMORE LETS PROT IT TO SORSE THATLL MAKE IT BETTER!!!!!!!!"
too bad this mod die before fullfill it's holy task to show the world that old engine such as half-life can have good graphic.
Well i have locked ower all net, and i haven't found a place where i can dawnload "Half-Life: Nightwatch" for half life 1!
Can you tell me from where?
Pleace i like this mod, but how can i played it!
Pleace if you know tell me!
you can faind me here: napoleon.hl@abv.bg
Should so vote nightwatch for mod of the year!
I'm wondering why they ended it, I wanted to play this mod so bad, They pushed the HL engine to the Max, and yet they scrapped that for the HL2 version which they started too soon, This was going to make HL more than it was but we will never see it.
Why didn't they work on the HL version?
It's all dead. HL2 modifacations too.
Thats what they get for cancelling their HL1 mod.
Its really to bad that this mod had to die because of the reasons it did, although i suppose that lots of mods die because of internal garbage. But if the developers ever read this, the content that was made, although painstakingly slowly made, is still there, and if a new team were to form + the few people from the original team that cared and were dedicated to the completion and ingenuity in this project, new life could be introduced to this mod....
