HLW has been in development since 2007 and last saw a public release (Multiplayer Beta 2.0.9). The Multiplayer Beta, which you can download here on Desura, requires Half-Life 2: Episode 2 to play! It features 3 game modes: Sandbox, Annihilation and Overrun, showcasing the Rebels and Combine playable factions.

I think it's an example of the team's color code, for multiplayer.
the colored spot spoil the model, you should do like it's black thing on his back make him change of color. Nice model still!

Instead of coloured spots, maybe entire reskins? I think this looks just a tad tacky.
Thank god you don't design modern RTS's. So you would have entire reskins for 12 players? GL HF.
you should abb more building and like power plants and weapon factorys for building vechiles and get more power... just an idea :P
me got idea! Miltiplayer 4 teams, if everybody chooses antlions, there are 4 skins of ants, everybody gets 1 of the antlion skins!
In otger words, 1 team has 1 type of skin, while other another skin.
The antlions look strange, but cute^^
Can't wait to command a combine horde against antlions, a rebellion horde agaist combine and an antlion swarm against both :))
You try making the team colors more natural looking I.E Tiger stripes or tinting the edge of there bodies.
