Half-Life 2: Wars brings the struggle between the human resistance and their Combine overlords to a real-time strategy setting. HLW has been in development since 2007 and last saw a public release (Multiplayer Beta 2.0.9). The Multiplayer Beta, which you can download here on Desura, requires Half-Life 2: Episode 2 to play! It features 3 game modes: Sandbox, Annihilation and Overrun, showcasing the Rebels and Combine playable factions.

HL2:EP1 mods should be in Half Life 2: Episode one category, same for HL2:EP2 mods. And Light247 it's a different game with the same element and features, just a different amount of items/models and AI. Are people really that needy for downloads and rating just so they can have front page?
It's not possible to change the Game section on ModdB. The only way is to create a new profile/mod, which is stupid.
I downloaded this game and while a quarter - way downloading Desura crashed. After 8 months Desura finally worked again, and I really wanted to play this game. I downloaded this again and Desura crashed... AGAIN! I'm still waiting for Desura to work again, and this sucks. So when Desura works again I'll uninstall this game.
I even tried downloading another version to see if it would work but it did not.... Please help, this is an interesting mod and I would like to play it but it just keeps doing that exact thing. I have hl2:ep 2 and alien swarm so I don't know what I missing....

Does it make the typical "steam error" sound when you try to start it? In that case it would indicate a problem with the installation. How did you install it?
Nvm, I fixed it, the problem was that the steamAPPId was off so I changed it to 218 and it was fixed. Thanks for responding to my post though.
