This is a single player Half Life 2 mod, set entirely outside of city 17.
It features:
+ 6 levels of action, exploring a range of locations (from an underground facility to fighting alongside the combine on an alien world to floating color-coordinated cubes)
+ Non-linear level progression- you start near a nexus of gateways, and may choose the order in which to progress through the levels
+ A musical score (a total of 8 tracks)
+ Some new abstract textures (see image 3)
+ Challenging gameplay - this mod is meant for those who have already completed Half Life 2.
****For those with version 1.0, to get around the bug in the airboat-sequence, just noclip through the floor. (this is fixed in version 1.1) To noclip, open the console with ~ (or if its deactivated, go to options/keyboard/advanced to activate it) then type in "sv_cheats 1" and then in a separate line "noclip" (it should spit back at you "noclip on"). Type "noclip" again to deactivate noclipping....

lol, that was awesome, good job guys !!!
I loved this mod. How the enemies were easy to destroy, the very way the game worked... Could've used some editing though... Now... WHAT IS THAT MUSIC???? PLEASE, I LOVE THE SONG ON THE FIRST MAP!
I agree with raider what is the name of that song!!!
I agree. A truly excellent mod! Very crazy.
this mod is truely a masterpiece p.lay it
I really liked this mod. Decent length, not too long, doesn't overstay it's welcome. Nothing like mowing down a bazillion combine to soothe the nerves. I really liked some of the 'collapsing floor' traps -- they were clever and unexpected, but not impossible to beat. All of the environments were EXTREMELY well done, very creative and dynamic. The 'box' level that appears in the mod pic for this site is now one of my all-time favorite HL2 maps.
I only have a few minor complaints. First of all, in the 'boss' fight of said box level, one can easily avoid all the spawning creatures simply by dropping onto the ramp that leads up to the top of the box and camping out there indefinitely. This makes what should be a challenging fight a little too easy, IMO. Maybe solve by creating walls around the box?
Also, and honestly I can't complain too much about this since it's user preference more than anything else, but I didn't care too much for the soundtrack. The songs were good but I just didn't feel they felt appropriate.
So again, awesome job with this. Short, fun, lots of combine to kill and some really creative scenarios (especially love the part where a ton of antlions attack and you get to fight alongside a couple dozen combine--that's the kind of creativity I look for in a mod). The environments are not particularly 'different' but still well-put together and easy to navigate. At times difficult (but never impossible), short, fun, this is a great mod to play around with. Look forward to any future work!
very interesting mod. I didn't like the difficulty curve, though. It was really easy until the sharp jump to crazy hard at the hallway with a crapload of combine shooting combine balls at the same time and everything after that part. It was still good and I liked the ending. I appreciate the loads of explosives and the situations in which they are useful (you know fun ways to kill combine), but I wish, like for most mods, that it was longer and had at least one new weapon.
i hope you ask the newgrounds authors permission before using their music.
I did. Furthermore, the licensing terms specifically allow you to reuse the music as long as citation is given, and the resulting product is non-commercial. I appreciate the sentiment of your concern, as the musicians deserve credit.
Your mod like Kill to Kill, but it sucks. Your - great.
