Welcome to the Alien Swarm Director Mod! ASDM is a single player Alien Swarm mod focusing on increasing replayability by creating a dynamic experience every time you play. The ASDM complements the default Alien Swarm AI and Director in two ways. First, ASDM enhances the TileGen map generator to automatically generate the map layout for missions 2-5 every time you play. The layout is impacted by player performance, so the better you perform on mission 1, the longer and more challenging mission 2 will be.
ASDM modifies the in-mission experience as well. Based on your performance some doors may or may not open and the number and type of enemies you will fight will differ.

EVERYONE! This is a singleplayer mod, just click the only game-start option on the main menu. I've found NO options to play online or with other people. Seems singleplayer to me. Works perfectly. Procedural generation is one of the best pieces of game design available. Thank you for applying it to EVERY part of this game.
How do you play this off line?
Seeing how the description says it is a single player mod, there should be a way to play it with out being online.
Will this get me Vac-Banned?
Also, do you think you could implement bots and perhaps even dynamic color correction?

What's the installation problem? Did you install Steam, Alien Swarm and the Alien Swarm SDK?
ASDM shouldn't have any impact on VAC. It's installed as a 3rd party game and doesn't change any of the original Alien Swarm files.
Yes I have the Alien Swarm SDK installed, and I obivously have the first two installed. But when I downloaded it, I got an EXE file, and nothing to tell me which directory to put it in, so what was I suppossed to do? Do I put it in its own Source Mods folder and just run the EXE file?
The exe should be an installer. Run the exe, click next a few times and then restart steam. When you steam loads back up you should see Alien Swarm Director Mod in your list of games. Launch it as you would any other steam game. Hope this helps and have fun!!!
