This has been a great week for gamers! In case you’ve been
living under a rock, or just without internet, then you need to know about the
steam summer sale!

First off are the discounts on a heap of games, from huge triple
A titles like CoD, Shogun 2 and Battlefield! Most games are discounted
significantly, but each day there are some HUGE daily discounts. There are also
huge packs, like the THQ pack and Paradox pack. If you are a fan of a certain
company, their pack can be a great way to complete you collection.

The thing I’ve been enjoying most about this sale is the
ticket aspect of it. For those of you who don’t know about it each day there
are new achievements available in a variety of games which let you earn
tickets. You can use these tickets to buy exclusive content for games, or even
buy Alien Breed 2 for free! They also enter you in to a draw to win the top 10
games on your wish list.

I have been enjoying the way this promotion has been giving
me an incentive to revisit amazing indie titles like AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAa, giving
me extra rewards for playing games I would be anyway, like TF2, giving me one
last incentive to buy some really cheap games like Garshasp: The Monster
Slayer, and all the while giving me free stuff for my games!

So what are you waiting for? Get involved in the Summer Sale
fun! Even if you don’t own any of the relevant games there are a few “Steam Achievements”
so there’s no excuse!
