Getting a grip blog - tehchechirecat

Sweet Nibblets, there are a lot of games I didn't even knew existed. Yesterday I saw a short clip about Project Zomboid and I fell in love at the first sight. It seemed to have everything I love. A simple design which makes it easier to see what you have to do, scary and intriguing background music, you have to collect food and combine things which makes it great because I love those kinds of games and cute zombies that turns scary when they are a couple of hundred surrounding you.

So I started playing this sweet game that starts off with telling me that I am going to die. Nice touch. I know that there is no way to live through it, but I can survive quite long if I want to. And if I just would understand how to work the shotgun. It was a bit difficult to really understand what I was supposed to do. First I ended up killing my wife with a pillow because I didn't understand how to make bandages, eating burned food, running into a park because "I should be safe here" and just having the time of my life while I can hear zombies stomping and growling in the background. I will definetly try to go more than just 1 day before being killed. And there seems to be a lot of things to do in this town and I cannot wait to find out about what I exactly CAN do. I just hope I can figure out how to use the shotgun.  I guess it would be a little bit easier to survive with it.
