Private MessageAfter my first experience with online games in 2000 I've build up and successfully ran several large online clans. In 2001 climbed up the ladder in Starlancer and managed to become one of the most successful players worldwide in that game aswell as leader of the largest clan. Since that I stuck to the Sci-fi game genre. In 2002 the SWAT Portal was founded and since that I am leading this Sci-fi Game Portal that supports a large range of games. One of these games is Freelancer. Not long after its release in 2003 I've started modding the game (my modding experiences with other games reach back to 1993 where I've created my first work). Until now I've created 4 Freelancer mods and assisted countless of other Mod projects. The Crossfire Mod which is currently my main project keeps holding the Top position of the Freelancer mods for several years. Most important for me is the success of the SWAT Community and its members aswell as professional work.
No blog entries have been posted here. Boring yes, but as confucius says - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.

Hi SWAT,
Ive been having problems with combat AI on my version of crossfire. In that I mean enemy ships are flying so eratically i cant hit them at all. Any advice at all?

Thank you, I think figured out I had to edit the shields and the nanobots the NPC for mod. <Repire Block> I edited for this.
i'm a loooong time player of the original Freelancer i've started the Crossfire mod(excellent work)i just would like to know whats up with those nomad bomber ships at paradise i can't even get a shot off b4 i'm killed.i've tried several of the very heavy fighters all with the same results Am i missing something do i need to buy a battle ship no where in the game up to that point i couldn't out fly or shoot the targets but here i don't get even 1 shot off now that just crazy.
so any help would be great cause i realy want to see the end but after 15 tries with the same out come i may not make it (frustration lol)

maybe try getting better shields/armor upgrade, or also try getting longer-ranged weapons? photon-cannons dont work bvery well against nomad ships ;)

got a problem in activating crossfire 1.9.......it shows this error always :Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.9 Client Edition'
Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Crossfire1.9\EXE\resourcescf6.dl2' to 'D:\Freelancer\EXE\resources.dll')
i tried reinstallng freelancer and flmm but this error always pops just in the end when the activation is about to get over....
i tried to use discovery mod 4.85 and it worked!!
pls tell me how will i figure this out!!!
do you remove all the saved game data
from previous installs?
then i load freelancer i run the game but i done start one
then i load flmm and make sure no other mods are activated
the i run the crossfire exe it should file itself in the flmm
then activate and run
you shouldn't need the freelancer disk any more after that and your FL icon should turn into a crossfire one

Hey SWAT! Absolutely love your work with Crossfire! Crossfire is by far the best Freelancer mod out there and in my opinion always will be! :D
