I work in telecommuncations by day and make games by night. Currently polishing up the Mayan Mystery game and putting together some content for it on the site.

With all the feedback I got for my Mayan Mystery game recently, I've been tweaking things here and there on pretty much a non-stop basis. Here's a quick rundown of the stuff off the top of my head:
One error message that came up in the first iteration of the file has been fixed, but most of the other things revolve around fine-tuning little things to make the gameplay just a little more enjoyable. The second boss animations have been changed slightly for instance. Now you have a chance to dodge her spit-bombs, and her baby spiderlings move at variable speeds.
Probably the nicest improvement is the re-vamping of the powerup system. The chance of getting ammo for the weapon you are currently using increases, while getting something like health and/or non-used weapons goes down quite a bit. The rarity of health should mean that you won't be so tempted to just blaze through levels, but you shouldn't have to worry so much about running out of your favourite ammo.
As well, there are now two kinds of ammo; big and small! The small ones are what you get from most enemies, and replenish only a small amount of ammo or health, while the large ones are scattered throughout each level, and are dropped by a boss when you defeat them. They're definitely worth seeking out :)
I hope that little details like these will seem minor when you play the game, but make the overall experience seem much more polished!
