I'm an old schooler PC gaming and tech nut. Been employed in the industry for 20+ years and loving it. Long time coder and writer. Worked in most aspects of development in one capacity or another during my time. There's an amazing amount of talented people with fresh ideas here on ModDB. I really enjoy checking out and playing what others have/are working on. Just a quick shot and a short note to share a little of my own " front yard ", so to speak. We've been getting from 6 - 12 " of this lovely stuff about every 3 - 5 days for the past 3 weeks or so. I took an opportunity to experiment with with a few night shots, but I could use plenty more practice.
Jeez, thats a lot of snow. And every 3-5 days for the last 3 weeks? We got around 14 inches a few weeks ago in Iowa from that big storm that swept through the midwest, but that was apparently the worst storm in several decades and we havent gotten anything half that large again.
Anyway, I hope you've a snowblower lol! This has got to be a pain in the ***.
Yeah, it's bi-polar weather at best - say 50's one day, -0 the next, then loads more snow " shrugs ". I'm just comforted by the WGC's ( World Genius Coalition ) determination that global warming is complete nonsense. ;)
That's nothing compared to what we have here in Värmland, Sweden where I live. Still, it's a nice place you live in jj :)

We keep getting a big bunch of snow 1 week, then have it totally melt the next up here in Vancouver. It sucks because you never know what you have to prepare for on the roads. I wish it would just stay for a month or so D':
concider yourself lucky sir lol. Here in england we are lucky to get a days snowfall, aint had a good one since I was about 13 (now 25) and if we do its pretty much melted away by the next day. Xmas 2010 was a bit of an exception however once again, it had melted away within a few days lol. WE NEED SNOW HERE DAMNIT!!
