I play a variety of games, I don't really stick to a single game for long. I used to work on the Shattered lands mod for Men of War Assault squad, but I "left the team" a long time ago because I simply lost interest in the game, and didn't have the time to put towards a huge project being done by a small team. If I find mods that have content that is without a shadow of a doubt, stolen from another game or mod that did not give permission for it to be reused, I will report it. you don't have to like it, but I don't care.

For some reason I had a wave of nostalgia that came over me recentley, and I wanted to play WZ2100. After failing to find my discs, I found out that the game became freeware -years- ago.
underestimated game. Good fun, impliments as much creativity as you can imagine. it's just one of those games you have to look past the graphical aspects and just enjoy the gameplay. It is from 1999 after all.

I respect the Dev's desire to make a new UI and all, but it's not smooth. I know this is a beta but after seeing this I will not be downloading any future PR Releases for A2.
The fact that it runs off it's own EXE and not by the tried and true modfolder method is frustrating and useless.
It looks like they tried to copy over all the features from the BF2 PR onto this one, which is to say a bad idea. like the PR Ammo crates. There are some things in the arma 2 game that are fine the way they are, and long time players of the game will get frustrated when having to grab weapons a different way. etc
The only reason I was interested in PR was because the mostly British Dev team was obviously going to make the UK faction overpowerd and stacked like they Did for BF2 PR, and it looked like they were going to add a variety of newer units and vehicles in contrast to the BAF DLC. To be honest from what I've seen the DLC Is better, and everything PR Is trying to do, ACE2 Has already perfected and done better

Immensely improved combat mechanics, it's actually fun again to just run around massacring guards. Isnt AS Full of random puzzle levels as AC2. Although even with AC:Revelations, I'm getting tired of Momma Mia Italiano Ezio..
Still much better than AC2, Although sadly it's story only takes about a third of the time, I liked hunting down all the conspirators in AC2

I liked this game when it first came out, but it eventually spawned 99.9% of the morons who made MW2 their own personal middleschool religion.
And strangley I found MW2 To play a lot smoother than this, MW2 drew it's weapon damage and such off World at War, sometimes in COD4 I Couldnt even tell when I hit someone.
Also stop ******* hating on Russians. I was happy to see DC Burning in MW2, But oh no Captain America and Nigel the Chav save the day in the end.
Call of Duty 4 spawned a generation that's Braindead and Racist
also even more so, 13 year olds started talking about guns to the point that it was annoying. most of the time it was stuff they never heard of in their life until they saw it on Xbawks

The only problem I have with this mod is they nerfed the Ukranian side after a few updates, the whole mod is unbalanced, one side has better rifles, while the other has better jets, team A has ****** shotguns, Team B Has ****** SMGs. etc

No review necessary. This game is a virtual deity among PC gamers. This is what kept me from becoming a Console loser and kept me loyal to PC Games.
However, if Gabe Newell wasn't busy eating 200'000 sandviches and fooling with his Jazz hands instead of working on the next half life installment, I might have remained more loyal to valve.
Just when you thought Gordon was coming back after Portal 2, Valve announces DOTA 2 and a new counter strike game.
By the time HL3 or HL2-EP3 Is released, I'll have grandchildren, arthritus and three failed marriages.
I Stopped thinking about Half life because by the time it does come around, I probably wont even care, it will be another duke nukem forever, procrastinated so long that when it finally does come it's a dissapointment.
Anyway enough about that. HL2, Epic game, may seem mediocre by today's standards, but you're not a true PC Player until you've played this.

While I don't play it anymore because MOW:Assault Squad is newer and more current, I am writing this review based on the entire franchise
Men of War is a seriously underrated game, No one gives it a chance because they'd rather mock about on Company of Heroes or Warhammer Dawn of War, Ignorant people take one look at it and go "oh, it's from a russian company, it's gonna be ****, im not going to try that".
I had the same opnion when I bought it in the store, I had played the SP Demo once and I was impressed with it's realism and flexibility, I didn't overlook the game because of it's graphic limitations, they were good enough for me
I was utterly shocked by this game, It's probably one of my top 5 games of the past 2 years. I liked it's flexibility and gameplay so much that I joined a mod team and it is practically the only game I take part in modding for.
