I play a variety of games, I don't really stick to a single game for long. I used to work on the Shattered lands mod for Men of War Assault squad, but I "left the team" a long time ago because I simply lost interest in the game, and didn't have the time to put towards a huge project being done by a small team. If I find mods that have content that is without a shadow of a doubt, stolen from another game or mod that did not give permission for it to be reused, I will report it. you don't have to like it, but I don't care.

Serving as Enemies in the first two games and as the Player's true Faction in the third, the Ukrainian Military isn't trying to get rich off the Zone, they aren't there to glorify themselves in fighting mutants.
They're just there to protect the outside world from the horrors of the Zone, and to stop people from going into it.
While the only games where you really interact with them, they are hostile in, the Military is particularly amusing, having to deal with hell every day the Military has become sloppy, they often let people in for bribes, Pack up and go home in the middle of firefights. And just generally don't give a damn. At one Border crossing the Commander will be stating warnings to travellers that they are approaching a disaster zone, and ten minutes later he will be yelling drunken slurs at soldiers deployed at the outpost
They're also, Being the Military, One of the Most formidable enemies in the game, While this is varied, Their forces ranging from Incompetent Grunts to expert Spetsnaz forces, as well as Attack Choppers and Hardened Machine gun posts. The only other Faction that can Match the Ukrainian Military when at full strength, is the Monolith, Whom in some ways are Superior to the Military. Particularly in Numbers and Individual equipment
I liked the Priboi Story mod where you could play as them.
