New games are coming update 17/07/12
R.A.W: Realms of Ancient War
Wizarbox currently working on "RAW: Realms of Ancient War". The game is an action role-playing game not unlike Blizzard's "Diablo III". Certainly the developers have said that the game's focus should be on action and RPG. It will not however say that the game is poor in role-playing elements. Known and loved systems as "loot" and character development are in fact well represented. See only the latest gameplay from the game list. The video can be viewed as normal below.
"RAW: Realms of Ancient War" has been running no release date. The game comes to Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
The UK developer Eurocom has recently been particularly focused on the James Bond license. There are in fact those behind the updated versions of Rares classic "Goldeneye 007". Their next project follows the same path, but this time take it for the movies that have not yet been games based on them. "007 Legends" will tell us the action from six different bond movies, three of which, so far, has been revealed. "Moonraker" was first out and this week it was announced that the second movie is "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". The announcement came with a trailer that can be seen below.
"007 Legends" has release date of October 19, 2012. The game comes to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Newcomers with Torn Banner Studios will soon launch "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare." The game is admittedly based on "Half-Life 2" modification "Age of Chivalry", but the developers promise an updated and expanded gameplay. To give a better overview of what "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" actually is, the developers have now released a developer diary that gives us a bit more general overview. The video can be seen below.
"Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" has no release date yet. The game is only for PC.
Ubisoft's "ZombiU" was one of the big surprises at this year's E3 trade show a little earlier this year. The game in a way a first-person shooter. For even if the game is played from a first angle and you have guns, the focus is here clearly on survival and not on what to shoot down as many zombies. Among other things, the game marks only a life and if your character dies you have to start over with a new character. This week, Ubisoft released two gameplay videos from the game. These can of course be seen below.
"ZombiU" is so far only announced for Nintendo Wii and U is expected around the launch of the console.
Beyond: Two Souls
David Cage and Quantic Dream has made a name around it to create unique titles with a focus on deep action. They had great success with "Heavy Rain" in 2010 and now they will try to make the medium even a bit further with the "Beyond: Two Souls." The game will follow Jodie Holmes, who has a special link with a supernatural entity, through 15 years of her life. Jodie is played by Ellen Page both voice acting and motion capture. It is also the motion capture sessions that are the focus of the first developer diary from the game, which can be seen below.
"Beyond: Two Souls" has suggested release date of the first quarter of 2013. The game is exclusive to Playstation 3
The Last of Us
It was probably a Sunday tapas at an end and I hope it was something that appealed to most people. This time I choose to finish with the latest video from Naughty Dog's highly anticipated "The Last of Us." The video, which is one of the sequences from the game can be seen below.
"The Last of Us" has no release date yet. The game is exclusive to Playstation 3
