This is the first 0:50 seconds of the video I'm making for the Extreme Realism mod, its still WIP and is coming along perfectly. The final results will have PIP videos of battles/images of events on the left and right and the video may run just a little bit slower so viewers can have time to read the text (it may have a voice over, but I don't have one yet), take a glance at the PIP videos/images.
A few things:
• No sound effects (yet).
• 3D logo made by Dr. Knick.
• YouTube slightly decreased the quality of the video, but I can't help that.
• Watch it in 720p and Full Screen mode for a better experience.

Hope that the next batlefield will be Batlefield 2143
People say that BC3 is the next game being made, but I seriously disagree with them. What would a BC3's selling point be if it is released after BF3? The fact that you can play as Marlon or whatever his name is in the single player with those three other characters? **** that ****, it will just be yet another modern shooter.
DICE have remade almost every single one of their previous Battlefield games into the Frostbite engine (1942 -> 1943, Vietnam -> BC2: Vietnam, BF2 -> BF3 and finally BF2142 -> BF2143; it's the only way it can go and is a good way of making another game based in the Frostbite engine look new; there hasn't been a futuristic game set in that engine yet, a good way to market it I suppose).
Everything is moving towards the future in games today; WWII got stale, Modern Warfare has gotten stale, and where do video game artists go to now? The future; Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier etc. Battlefield will also need to move into the future.
So, with all that in mind, I have no doubt that the next game will be BF2143.
So, apparently, it IS just another modern-setting Battlefield. I am disappoint... but, hell, I haven't seen anything. It could be cool, my hopes aren't high though.
well i have seen lots of easter eggs about battlefield 2143 on bf3, especially on the endgame expeansion where a 2143 drone appears.
