Outside gaming I have a degree in Computing and Cybernetics from the University of Lincoln, which is just as cool as it sounds.

Quite often we get mods showing off every single model they've built to try and bolster some awareness amongst the players who love the eye-candy. Of course there is nothing wrong with this, but recently a few mods and games have started posting some more technical information in their news posts.
Since Mod DB has a healthy community of developers as well as players, it might be worth considering posting up something about any clever technical stuff you've done. Smarter AI, faster visual processing, new and improved workflows and so on all can help make other developers go "ooooh".

my server ping on New Universe 2.0 was bad number of strength signal ( zero ping), i have created my own server but none of one can join 'coused the ping was bad (zero). my Questions were :
1. how to create Server online (multiplayers)?
2. How to make ping most better for the server?

I haven't been to Mod DB for a long time, I stepped down from modding HL2 games since getting a coder is really hard. I'm working on another mod now, something simpler, a RTS-TC mod for BFME2.
So What have you been up to?
Can you give me back my group. It was called The Mafia. Idk why it is gone. Please give it back. All we talked about was innocent things like the new Mafia games comming out. Why is it gone. I spent a long time making it.

I just want to say as a modder that I really appreciate what moddb has done. Its great to have a really nicely presented site to serve as a hub for our mod. I love the interface, simple to use, flexible and it looks good too. And Jackson, I really appreciate your blog and how it helps me learn new things (like how to get the image go all the way across the bottom of a post) Thanks to you and all the moddb staff!

I read you're Knights of the Farce article, and I was wondering if there is a replacement mod, or a mod like it that has been successfully released (a mod that chronicles the Star Wars Saga or is extremely customizable).
