So, if everything goes well, within a week or two I might have a new PC. Quite a monster of a PC at that.
If not, I'll have to stick with the pile of scrapmetal I have right now for a while.
Hold on to your hats, because the plans for this PC are exessive, and most certainly a huge waste of money. But it's awesome, and that counts.

16 gb Ram? Cmon... You could buy a motherboard with the capability of 64GB ram now.
And btw,you are investing 4500 euro for a PC? I dont know about you rich people but thats dumb...
Seeing that at least 9 months later there will be better harware and 18 months later it will be twice the speed you have...

I'm not getting this PC after all, but something a lot more overkill. 2xEVGA GTX680 Hydrocopper, 32GB RAM, and a Cooler Master Cosmos II case, the rest is pretty much the same. Exept I'm getting a Wacom Cintiq 24HD instead of the Intuos 4.
The reason for the 32GB ram is so that the waterblocks for the RAM don't look as empty :P
Also I'm not rich...I just got a rich friend :P
