My name is Alexander Strout, and I have been tinkering with video games since I was 11 years old in early 2001. I began with designing silly little 2D games using software known as "Kilk & Play," and eventually moved on to small mod projects for various games. I am currently working on finishing a BS degree in Computer Science, but still take a whack at small projects for fun in my spare time. For those curious, the name "foxBox" comes from Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham ("Would you eat them with a fox? Would you eat them in a box?") and is a nod back to my roots of playing the Sonic the Hedgehog games as a kid: I was always a Tails fan, as he had the most useful ability ever in a platformer - flight.
No, seriously. I'm gonna go get some eats.
Oh wait, you need 300 characters to fill up a blog post. And it must be "unique, original, relevant and presented in a professional manner." Poo! How am I ever going to get food while trying to finish this post? CRISIS. Oh, but wait, what lies ahead?
