uh right. It was a joke. But thanks for deleting the comment. Obviously you stopped reading before the part where i said "lol JK, it's your choice", as i thought that was pretty self-evident that i was joking and that it was your choice to join or not.

P.S. I considered you to be a friend of mine so why would i randomly insult you when we have such a stupid difference of opinion as to which groups we are a part of on a website?

One more thing: I've had a sustained debate with Ecclesia once before. it was over the course of a week or so. The problem is that he never actually refutes anything i say with any type of fact, it's all generalizations or logical fallacies, whereas I would spend an hour researching what i was actually arguing... That type of debate can really dishearten someone as, I have all the facts on my side, i've destroyed everything he says yet he can still avoid it. On top of all that the entire group is behind him. Whereas the majority of the Atheist group is educated and can debate, it only takes one on their group to 'debate' with us.

I can see how this would **** you off and it makes me angry as well. Now i'll occasionally drop a comment on him but i don't even care enough to see what he'll reply because i know he'll just avoid what i stated. Might be that i get a thrill out of learning something, so researching stuff and debating is fun to me... i don't know, but when i think about it logically there actually is no point in debating with him...

lol, but that's one of the reasons i find him funny. I've seen so many depressing things on the news (world news and such), seen some crap in my life (short though it may be), that, i just have to laugh at this kind of stuff. The alternative is to be angry at life and lose faith in the human race so... to preserve my sanity i need to laugh at it :P

All joking aside, you are right. Putting my twisted humour aside it is rather (well actually, very) depressing...

Yeah, the problem i have is that they don't need to be religious to live according to those values at all. I'm not religious and i live morally. I haven't really seen any atheist fanatics on this site, and i'm not even sure what they would act like if they were... Would they be the people that say God absolutely doesn't exist? If you follow logic then technically you cannot prove God doesn't exist, but if you follow logic then you'd know there is a tonne of arguments AGAINST God and none FOR God... If you know what i mean.

Also i know who you're talking about, I find Ecclesia to be fun though. Like i said, when debating with him his responses are pretty much like a gameshow: "Spin the Wheel of Logical Fallacies"... Lots of fun.
