I'm an Unreal Technology Consultant currently located in Newcastle, UK. I studied Computer Games Programming at the University of Derby and Computer Games Development at the University of Central Lancashire. I have an avid interest in game design from a technical perspective and visual effects. In my spare time I enjoy my local live music scene, and a good pint of ale (or six). I currently work for Pitbull on Epic Games' projects, recently worked at Lionhead Studios, shipping Fable: The Journey and co-authored the third volume of the UE3 Mastering Unreal Technologies books.
No blog entries have been posted here. Boring yes, but as confucius says - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

ok thanks for the heads up, I was always under the impression game programmers made lots of money in a year after an article I read.
ok thanks for the information! Also the information you gave me was for what type of position like an artist or a programmer?
Hey can I ask you something, Since you say you work for Lionhead studios. Do you think its worth trying to get into the game industry? or should I get a job in anything related to my discipline(Currently studying engineering) then make games just as a hobby/indie type stuff.
Thanks for the heads up about my Aliens project. Means a lot.
Congrats on getting rid of Mr. Molyeneux. Best of luck with the release ;)
Nice to see a professional willing to hang out with the pimply faced hobbyists.
Hey Ambershee,
I have a quick question for you. I have to do a modding project for school so I am checking out your "Unreal Learning #1: My First Unreal Tournament 3 Mutator" and was wondering if it is possible to do this with the version of Unreal Tournament that comes with UDK bundle. Thanks!
The UTGame that comes with UDK does not include the content used in the tutorials.
