If he doesn't the sentinel behind him might "accidentally" step on him.
or they just wait 'till the commissar sweats to death... seriously... full commissar uniform incl. leather coat... IN THE JUNGLE!
I hate Commissars. They should really stay out of the jungle.
There are two kinds of Commissars:
1. the coward which hides behind his men
2. the hero who fights along side the men at the heart of battle e.g commissar Guant, Commissar Cain

No, the ones that don't understand the concept of military tactics besides putting a bolt into someone's back. That reason is why we tend to frag them, besides the fact that Commissars tend to be quite noticeable in a Jungle setting.
