everyone knows space marine chapters are based on some civilization in RL, but what are they exactly for each chapter? I do know the inspirations of Ultramarines (romans), Space wolfs (Vikings) Black templars (templar knights) and White scars (mongols) but what about the other chapters? The same question can be asked of eldar craftworlds. What civilizations do they resemble? |

The same question can be asked of eldar craftworlds. What civilizations do they resemble? interesting question blood angles-->vampires maybe,grey knights--->templars during the crusades,....... that all i guess there is of course a lot other but those only the stated here are the most famous but there like a whole a lot of 'em unknown like the astral claws ,the extraminuses and many MANY others and most of 'em really have little inspiration from real world like the dark angles and for the eldar i gauss Ulthwe is inspired from emos lol --

thousand sons egyptians yeah but it's hard to believe that dark andles are middle easterns besides there is talleren desert raiders who has middle easterns written all over them --

Tallarn desert raiders are more like british SAS troops in africa during WW2. Whilst dark angels... If there was some sort of an organization in RL history that is hiding a terrible secret, then the dark angels might be that. --

maybe but most tallarn desert raiders look like bad'oo-arabic for nomads-so it's kinda hard for me to believe that british sas in ww2 looked like them and besides did sas field horses in ww2 ? and for ur second part of the post i gauss dark angles to be just like any intelligence agency in the world cause u know they all about hidden' secrets and doing bad sit --
